    Immunochromatographic rapid tests

A method based on the antigen/antibody immunological reaction is used. In order to allow this reaction to take place, a patient sample is treated with a reagent. Next, dropping on an immunochromatographic plate loaded with an antibody or antigen. There follows a formation of complexes of corresponding antigen and antibody, which trigger a color reaction with an intensity proportional to the amount of complexes formed.

    Serum tests

Automatic immunological analyzers are used. A sample of the patient is examined - blood, serum or plasma in which antigens or antibodies are detected, a mark of infectious or other diseases. Using an immunological analyzer, a quantitative estimate of a test sample is given. This allows monitoring of the dynamics, monitoring of the effect of a therapy undergone, evaluation of the severity of an infectious disease, etc.
